Are you a foodie? If so, this place is the ideal location for your Rehearsal Dinner! We were treated to a wonderful dinner in their newly remodeled restaurant at Easton. They have 2 private dining rooms for rehearsal dinners and also a great outdoor space. We had appetizers out on the patio prior to our meal of oysters and jumbo shrimp. Presentation was great and I loved the sauces!
We tried many appetizers which were amazing. My favorite was the Tuna Tartare with avocado cucumber, ponzu, and a lotus root chip. Angry Shrimp with spicy lobster butter, Ribeye Carpaccio with arugula, Parmesan, crostini were paired with featured Spring White & Rosé Wine Flights. For dinner I chose the Coffee & cocoa rubbed filet mignon with ancho chili butter, and angry onions- melt in your mouth! This was paired with S&W Private Reserve Meritage- it was excellent! Next came the spring steak feature- Amuse Bouche which was Snake River Farms Amerincan Wagyu New York Strip served on a Himalayan Salt Block with pickled radishes & shiitakes- this was amazing!!. Family style sides of creamy corn with Manchego and whipped potatoes were served. Oh and our service was top notch!! Last were the desserts of a chocolate layer cake with chocolate mousse, Baileys Irish Cream and Ganache as well as a Coconut Cake with a passionfriut glaze and coconut tuile! We could barely walk out! The Refectory is my all time favorite restaurant but now I think we have a competitor!
